Key Features

  • Human Menopausal Gonadotropin (hMG) 75 IU is a fertility medication commonly used in assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). It contains two key hormones: follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), both extracted from the urine of postmenopausal women. These hormones stimulate the ovaries to produce mature eggs. 
Indications

Indications

In Women:

  1. Ovulation Induction:
    • For women with anovulation (lack of ovulation) or oligo-ovulation (irregular ovulation), particularly in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
    • Used when other treatments like clomiphene citrate have failed.
  2. Controlled Ovarian Hyperstimulation (COH):
    • In assisted reproductive technologies (ART) like in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intrauterine insemination (IUI) to stimulate the development of multiple follicles.

In Men:

  1. Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism:
    • Used in combination with human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) to stimulate spermatogenesis in men with low levels of gonadotropins (FSH and LH).
